It’s not an easy question to answer or understand, especially when those of us who march do so not for ourselves, but for others. These others are people like us, individuals who need a helping han a comforting hug, and encouraging words of hope.

So, why do we march? We march for these forgotten children who need our help:they need to be seen, heard, and embraced so they can regain confidence in themselves, believe they can overcome any dark situation they are facing, and feel that society accepts and values them just as they are.
Today, we are the voice of those who feel lost, excluded, and empty due to various issues of consumption or vulnerability. This desperate cry demands strongly and lovingly the right to live with dignity. Their hope of starting over will never be extinguished.
We march for each of those children who are no longer with us today, those whom consumption sadly defeated and help did not arrive in time. For all those families who suffered their loss. We mourn them, we remember them, we carry them with us, but they make us stronger.
In the belief that everything will be alright, we embrace them, welcome them, accompany them, and encourage them to move forward, reminding them that they are not alone. Know that Love heals all, and let’s trust that God accompanies and guides us to continue receiving life as it comes.
